Cashless Payments

Myriad Cashless CateringA 'cashless company' offers staff a simplified means of payment for a broad range of facilities. Ease of use results in a positive experience, an associated increased uptake in the services provided and as the value is on the card, this also encourages on-site spend. The company is able to reward loyalty through discounts and promotions, making the attractiveness of the cashless purchase even stronger.

Companies may decide to pass on some of their savings to the end user, lowering prices, thereby encouraging on going loyalty even further. Recently cashless payment systems have been used as the delivery mechanism for Salary Sacrifice, an employee benefits scheme that allows organisations to save costs on National Insurance and Tax payments in exchange for employees using a designated amount for catering services.

Cashless payment systems use a plastic card to replace cash for 'on site' purchases by staff, contractors and visitors. Cash or points value are added or 'loaded' onto the card and can be used to pay for a range of services, facilities, food and drink.

Myriad Cashless VendingYou can use a card, loaded with value, to make cashless payments at a number of internal and external organisation locations including:

  • Company canteen/restaurant
  • Vending machines
  • On-site shop(s)
  • On-site car parking (where chargeable)

A cashless operation offers a more hygienic method of payment, the removal of cash means that catering staff are able to multi task switching quickly from one role to another, possibly reducing the overall number of staff required.
