G2IS awarded ISO 14001 Certification

Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire, 8 February, 2008 – With environmental impact the current ‘hot topic’ there are increasing pressures on organisations to consider buying policies with a move towards sourcing materials and suppliers responsibly.

In line with this, G2IS are pleased to announce their recent ISO 14001 accreditation in recognition of increased efficiencies since relocating their main manufacturing plant to Gloucestershire. Awarded by the British Standards Institute (BSI), ISO 14001 is the only environmental standard recognised worldwide and is recognition of the environmental policies G2IS have put in place.

This accreditation comes as a result of the resource and funding invested in G2IS by G4Tec and the forward thinking approach to the management of their environmental risks, both now and in the future. This is an incredibly exciting time for G2IS with this accreditation highlighting the vision and determination to become a world-class service company. For their customers the benefit comes twofold with cashless payment systems offering an environmentally efficient alternative to cash while G2IS provide the assurance of an environmentally driven manufacturing process.
